FERSIL 2.0 Program

FERSIL GROUP presents a software application for mechanical and hydraulic calculations applicable to its piping systems:
  • PVC-O 500 FERSIL TITAN: PN12.5 – PN16 – PN20 for water supply, pressurised sewers systems and agricultural irrigation – EN 17176 / ISO 16422.
  • FERSIL DURALIGHT PP-B: SN4 – SN8 – SN16 for non-pressurised drainage and sewerage systems – EN 13476-3.
  • FIL TUBOS DURALIGHT PP-B: SN8 for non-pressure drains and sewers systems – EN 13476-3.
  • FERSIL 3KKK PVC-U: SN2 – SN4 – SN8 for non-pressure drains and sewers systems – EN 13476-2.
This software verifies the suitability of an installation based on pipe loads and the safety coefficients recommended in the referenced manuals. Data entry is simple and intuitive, and the software is available in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. Upon completion of the calculation, a comprehensive PDF report is generated in the selected language, including the results of all calculations and validation of the most suitable pipe type for the specific installation conditions. The mechanical calculations are based on the method established in UNE 53331, which is derived from the ATV-DVWK A 127 guideline and referenced in EN 1295-1. In the case of DURALIGHT and 3KKK pipes, this method has been adapted to the geometry of their structured-wall profiles, based on the FERSIL 1.0 program developed in June 2004 by the Eduardo Torroja Institute for Construction Sciences, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The hydraulic calculations are based on the Colebrook method used in UNE 53959. This software, developed by Soluciones Extranet with technical support from FERSIL, is protected by copyright laws and is provided as a free calculation tool. It is intended for use by professionals with technical knowledge of structural pipe design and analysis. The software cannot replace the responsible design engineer or technical specialist.

AseTUB Program

AseTUB is the Plastic Pipes Sector Group of ANAIP, of which FERSIL is a permanent member. In collaboration with Soluciones Extranet, AseTUB has developed a mechanical and hydraulic calculation software based on UNE 53331 and UNE 53559 standards, applicable to plastic piping systems:
  • PE100 HDPE for pressurised water applications, EN 12201.
  • PVC-U for pressurised water applications, EN ISO 1452.
  • PVC-U for buried non-pressurised sewerage and drainage systems, EN 1401. FERSIL GROUP recommends the use of the AseTUB calculation software for its pipe product ranges, as it enables users to:
  • Obtain mechanical and hydraulic calculations through an intuitive and user-friendly software application (available in Spanish and English).
  • Generate calculation reports that can subsequently be downloaded in PDF format in several languages (Spanish, French, English and Portuguese).
  • Save calculations from previously completed projects in the tools menu within the user's private area.
