    Environmentally friendly solution The growing concern for the environment has led to the development of a range of products with a reduced pollution index, energy savings and a low carbon footprint. The Duralight system is made of polypropylene copolymer (PP) which gives it the following characteristics:

      HIGH QUALITY AND DURABILITY

      • As a complement to the Duralight range, FIL presents a set of collector pipes and perforated pipes of high robustness, with large dimensions and a ring stiffness SN4 (with CR6 ≥ 6 kN/m2), applied in underground drainage and non-pressure sewerage, in accordance with the UNE 53994
      • This range is strongly implemented in the market for public rain drainage works, with a high level of preference and satisfaction on the part of our customers.
      • It is an excellent alternative to traditional systems (concrete or corrugated PVC), because it is light, with a high resistance to impact and diametrical compression and with reduced installation costs on site.
      • It is developed in an environmental perspective associated with greater energy efficiency, which is achieved by the low consumption of raw material and low energy production costs, which associated with the excellent mechanical characteristics of the pipes, guarantees a high quality and durability solution at very competitive prices.

        SOLID EN 1401: Good combination of circumferential stiffness with flexibility

        • The FERSIL brand for PVC-U pipes solid wall, according to EN 1401, is presented in grey or orange-brown (brick) colour, with sockets for TPE lip-ring or SBR lip-ring (reinforced with PP ring) joints.
        • They have excellent mechanical resistance to impact and a good combination of ring stiffness with flexibility, which allows their installation in buried networks between 0.8 m and 6 m.
        • These pipes are designed for use in buried drainage and non-pressure sewerage, with different ring stiffness classes (SN2, SN4 and SN8), suitable for the depth and the places where they are installed (with or without road traffic).

            Water Supply

            PVC

            HIGHLY ROBUST

            FERSIL presents a system of PVC-U pressure pipes, of high strength, strongly implemented in the market, having a high level of satisfaction from our customers:

            • Reference standard EN ISO 1452;
            • W Series - water supply for human consumption, from the extraction to the buildings structure;
            • Dark grey colour (type RAL 7011);
            • Jointing system with smooth sockets for adhesive join (withstands the background effect) or with sockets for elastomeric pressure seals (JA) in EPDM (they don't support the background effect and that's why installation anchor points must be implemented);
            • With an MRS value of 25.0 MPa (classified as PVC250), it is designed for cold water supply (20 °C to 45 °C) with a diversified operating pressure (6 to 20 bar).
            • In order to comply with national legislation regarding materials in contact with water for human consumption, FERSIL has its PVC-U pressure pipes certified by AENOR and periodically carries out tests, in authorized laboratories, to verify the absence of harmful effects on water.

            GREATER EFFICIENCY IN WATER SUPPLY

            FERSIL presents a highly flexible PE100 pipe system, with excellent efficiency in the water transport capacity, with low cost installation and a guarantee of the quality of the joining systems:

            • Reference standard EN 12201;
            • Series W - for water supply for human consumption from the intake to the entrance to the building;
            • Black colour with blue stripes;
            • Supplied in coils of 50 m and 100 m in pipes with diameter up to 110 mm and in rods of 12 m or 6 m in diameter up to 1200 mm;
            • Joining systems with butt-fusion methods, or with electro-fusion fittings or with mechanical fittings;
            • With an MRS value of 10.0 MPa (PE100 classification), it is designed for water supply at a diversified operating pressure up to 6 bar, 8 bar, 10 bar, 12.5 bar, 16 bar, 20 bar and 25 bar, with an operating temperature from 20 °C to 40 °C.
            • In order to comply with national legislation regarding materials in contact with water for human consumption, FERSIL has its PE100 pipes certified by AENOR and periodically carries out tests to verify the absence of harmful effects on water, in authorized laboratories.

                • With an MRS value of 25.0 MPa (classified as PVC250), it is designed for drainage and sewerage (20 °C to 45 °C) with a diversified operating pressure (up to 6 bar, up to 10 bar and up to 16 bar);
                • Pipes certified by AENOR.

                MORE FLEXIBILITY WITH WATER

                FERSIL presents a highly flexible PE100 pipe system, with excellent capacity for transporting waste waters, with low cost installation and a guarantee of the quality of the joining systems:

                • Reference standard EN 12201;
                • Series P – in black colour for general waters or black with violet stripes for regenerated water networks or black with purple stripes for pressurized drainage and sewerage networks;
                • Supplied in coils of 50 m and 100 m in pipes with diameter up to 110 mm and in rods of 12 m or 6 m in diameter up to 1200 mm;
                • Joining systems with butt-fusion methods, or with electro-fusion fittings or with mechanical fittings;
                • With an MRS value of 10.0 MPa, it is designed for waters at a diversified operating pressure up to 6 bar, 8 bar, 10 bar, 12.5 bar, 16 bar, 20 bar and 25 bar, with an operating temperature from 20 °C to 40 °C.;

                  Gas Supply

                  HIGH CHEMICAL AND UV RESISTANCE

                  FERSIL has developed a range of polyethylene (PE) pipes for conducting and supplying gaseous fuels (Natural gas, butane, propane and LPG) with a maximum service pressure of 0.4MPa (PN4 for Portugal), 0.5 MPa (PN5 for Spain) and 1.0MPa (PN10 for other markets). These pipes can also transport the so-called Green Gas that incorporates Hydrogen in percentages allowed by the technical regulations in force.

                  • Reference standard EN 1555 (equivalent to ISO 4437);
                  • Colour black with yellow stripes;
                  • Supplied in coils of 50 m and 100 m up to a diameter of 110 mm and in lengths of 12 m up to a diameter of 315 mm;
                  • Joining systems can be made with butt-fusion methods, or with electrofusion fittings or with mechanical fittings;
                  • With an MRS value of 10.0 MPa (designated as PE100), they have two standard dimension ratio (SDR17 and SDR11) in accordance with the requirements of EN 1555 and applicable national regulations for Gas networks.
                  • They are an excellent alternative when compared to traditional systems in Steel and Copper due to its high strength, resistance to slow crack propagation, lower density, greater flexibility, longevity and high chemical resistance and to UV rays.

                    Optical Fibber

                    FILÓPTICA

                    FIL Tubos has developed a range of HDPE (high density) pipes, with highest strength to internal pressure. They are especially designed for long-distance installation of optical fibber networks, with the introduction of the cable by high- pressure blowing techniques (up 10 to 14 bar). They are supplied in 500 m or 1000 m coils equipped with removable plugs at both ends, which prevents animals or rubbish from entering into pipe, until the optical fibber cable is installed, thus allowing seamless installation between boxes. They are presents in colour black with orange/red, green or blue stripes, which serve to signal the different ducts when installed in parallel. They can be manufactured with a smooth inner wall with a perfect surface finish or with longitudinal ribs, in order to minimize friction generated by the sliding of the optical fibber cable during the blown installation process.
